HIGHLIGHTS & SUMMARY
"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today." - Malcolm X
Our vision for Public Prep has always been audacious. We aim to create a world where every scholar, regardless of their background, realizes their innate greatness both within and outside the classroom. We create classrooms that are beacons of community, fostering courageous learners, critical thinkers, and resilient leaders with a strong sense of personal agency.
We continue to outperform state testing averages in our schools' respective districts and maintain our status in the top half of performance within the SUNY charter portfolio. Key updates include the adoption of a new scripted curriculum, the expansion of our Science of Reading program, and revisions to our schedule to ensure additional instructional time for core content.
Public Prep has also integrated personalized learning technology for every scholar and increased school monitoring and visits from education experts to receive critical feedback on improving our instruction.

Where Families Thrive
“I am thrilled to share about my family's experience when my daughter's attended Girl Prep Bronx Elementary and Middle School. From the second to 5th grade we attended the elementary school where my daughter was nurtured in an environment that helped her grow into a curious, creative, and compassionate individual. We continued onto the middle school from 6th to 8th grade. The school's emphasis on sisterhood and community has instilled values that will benefit my daughter for a lifetime. The dedicated teachers and staff helped her explore her passion for learning and develop confidence. I am forever grateful for the education and support that Neila received at Girls Prep. I have had two daughters that attended and benefited from Girls Prep Bronx Elementary and Middle School. They both went to college so thank you so much.”
