WELCOME TO GIRLS PREP BRONX II

Greetings from Principal Gabriel Holt

Dear Girls Prep Bronx II Family,

Welcome to the Girls Prep Bronx II (GPBXII) family for the 24-25 school year! My name is Noelani GabrielHolt and I am the proud principal of GPBXII. I'm thrilled you’re here. Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you can make and we thank you for entrusting us with their educational journey.

We're committed to empowering every GPBXII scholar through strong family partnerships and exceptional teaching. From day one of stepping into our school, your child will be cherished, challenged, and encouraged to grow academically and personally. We will challenge them to think critically, read fluently and with confidence, solve problems with creativity, and show kindness to their sisters every day.

I am overjoyed to take this exciting journey with all of you. I look forward to reconnecting with you at our Back to School Night and Orientation, as we set out to build a community that develops confidence in every scholar and comes together to promote scholarship, excellence, community, and integrity. Welcome to our sisterhood.

In Partnership,
Noelani Gabriel Holt

PROGRAMMING & CURRICULUM

Uniquely Holistic Approach to High-Quality Education

Girls Prep Bronx II's curriculum is designed to be enriching and expansive, focusing on topics that matter in today's world. We aim to spark curiosity and encourage our scholars to think deeply about important issues. Our approach is grounded in a belief that learning must be relevant, joyful, and built to empower students to express themselves creatively. We implement a rigorous, research-backed curriculum where scholars learn to work independently and in groups with classmates on a variety of subjects, such as:

  • English Language Arts: Phonics, Reading and Writing
  • Social Studies and History
  • Science and Engineering Design
  • Math and Real World Problem Solving
  • Visual and Performing Arts: Music, Dance, Theater and Visual Arts
  • Physical Education: Yoga, Sports and Fitness

My child's teachers have been so supportive and stay in communication with me on a daily basis. If I ever have any questions or worries they are there to help me resolve whatever it is. The team is awesome.

I am so thankful for my daughter’s teachers and principal. She feels safe, happy, and supported when she goes to school each and every day and we truly feel like we are part of a family.

As a new parent, countless worries naturally arise, and something I deeply appreciate is how Girls Prep didn't dismiss my concerns but instead embraced the idea that we're in this together! My daughter constantly comes home with new information and is excited about the things she’s been learning, and I love the after-school support and extracurricular activities she has access to.
